DEAR FRIENDS and ART ENTHUSIASTS,

This is a friendly reminder of my upcoming solo exhibition, "Journey to the West: Alien of Extraordinary Ability", opening on November 2nd! I’m truly excited to share this body of work with you, Drawing inspiration from the classic journey of the Silkroad, as reimagined through my personal journey to Los Angeles and the artistic exploration that followed.

皆さま、お元気でしょうか。改めて、11月2日にPatricia Sweetow Galleryにて開催される私の個展『Journey to the West: Alien of Extraordinary Ability』のご案内です。日本とアメリカでの私の17年間の旅を、シルクロードの旅からインスピレーションを得て現代のアートで表現しました。

This exhibition showcases some of my most unique works to date, blending Eastern and Western influences—ranging from Buddhist iconography to elements of graffiti and anime. A highlight of the exhibition is "LA Mandala," a large mural created for the COLA 2023 Master Artist Project. Additionally, there are special collaborations featured with Master Hyogushi in Japan. Each piece explores themes of cultural fusion, identity, and perseverance.

この展覧会では、仏教の図像からグラフィティやアニメの要素まで、東洋と西洋の影響を融合させた、これまでの私の最もユニークな作品のいくつかを展示します。中心となるのは、COLA 2023 マスターアーティストプロジェクトのために制作された大きな壁画「LA マンダラ」と、日本の職人によって軸装された作品です。各作品には、文化の融合、アイデンティティなどが見られます。

Special Note: I am honored to announce that a selection of my scrolls will be shown at the Art Fair, Miami Beach, in December. I hope you can join me on this exciting journey and celebrate the art with friends, colleagues, and art lovers alike.
